Dr. Twinkal Dalal, MD has been an interventional pain management physician in the Kansas City metro area since 2014. She is board-certified in anesthesia and interventional pain management.
Dr. Dalal specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions. She offers minimally invasive pain treatments for chronic neck pain, back pain, joint pain, complex regional pain syndrome, chronic nerve pain, headache, cervical dystonia, abdominal and pelvic pain and cancer pain. She completed her medical degree from B J Medical College in India and three years of anesthesia residency training. After moving to the United States, she started her anesthesia residency at the prestigious John H Stroger
Hospital of Cook County, Chicago and completed her anesthesia training from University of Missouri, Columbia. She completed her pain medicine fellowship from ACGME accredited program of the John H Stroger hospital of Cook County, Chicago. Dr. Dalal was involved in multiple research projects during her resident and fellowship training. She has many publications and presents in national and international pain meetings.
Dr. Dalal believes in multimodal approach to pain management, tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s individual needs, goals and medical conditions. Her treatment options include intervention approach which includes spine and joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, ultrasound guided procedures, regenerative medicine, peripheral nerve block and neuromodulation for peripheral nerve pain, ketamine infusion. Her goal is to improve functionality and quality of life for patients who suffer from acute and chronic pain conditions. During her spare time, she loves to travel, dance, and spend time with family.
