Phantom Limb Pain

What is it?
Phantom limb pain refers to pain that seems to be originating from a limb that is non-existent. In easier terms, the limb is not real, but the pain is. Most amputees have reported feeling pain in their arms or legs, post-amputation.
What are some symptoms?
- Numbness & tingling
- Sharp, hot stabbing pain
- Burning sensation
