Disc Nucleoplasty
What is it?
Disc nucleoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure aimed to reduce the volume of herniated discs that may be bulging into the spinal canal.
How does it work?
This procedure works by using a needle that is inserted into a problematic disc. A high frequency, thermo-electrical field is then generated to reduce the volume of the herniated disc.
What conditions does it treat?
This procedure is used to treat pain caused by painful herniated discs.
